Tallaght couple set to buy first house after €40,000 scratch card win
A young couple from Tallaght are set to realise their dream of owning their very own home much earlier than expected following their €40,000 win on a €3 National Lottery scratch card.
Tallaght native, Sinead Mooney (27) and her partner Stephen Nicholl won the €40,000 prize on the €3 Money Multiplier 10X scratch which they purchased in Tesco in the Square shopping centre.
As dedicated parents to one year old Brandon, Sinead and Stephen have been determined to give their son a home in which they can truly call their own.
Speaking about the win, Sinead said: “This is an incredible feeling. We have been working ever so hard to save for a deposit for a house and we have continuously wondered if we would ever get there with the way the housing market is.
“Every single penny of this €40,000 win will go towards a new house which will be a home of our very own.”
