Tallaght MA makes its mark at Mugendo Open

TALLAGHT Martial Arts boasted no shortage of podium finishers at the Mugendo 2018 Open in IT Sligo Knocknarea Arena.
Martin Bannon took second place in the Master’s Section and third in the Open Weight division.
Ellen McCaughey certainly had a day to remember, finishing first in the Under-14 Intermediate, second in the Under 12 Advanced and third in Under-12 Intermediate Points Fighting.
In the 5-6 age group, Isabel Golding took first place in the Light Contact section and second in Points Fighting.
Brayden Davis, competing in the 7-9 Age Group, took first place in the Points Fighting Small Boys section while his team mate Sam O’Toole finished third.
Nathan Clarke secured second place finishes in both the Under 10 Intermediate and Advanced Boys Points Fighting with fellow Tallaght Martial Arts competitor Cillian McArdle finishing third.
Isabel McCaughey emerged third from both the Under-9 Advanced and Intermediate Points Fighting divisions to round off another successful outing for the club.
