The main aim of the challenge is for the students to not only build and run a bank throughout the academic year, but give them the opportunity to give back to their community by showcasing their creativity and entrepreneurship.
In its 16th year, 260 students from all across Leinster undertook this year’s challenge, in which the results of their work were celebrated on Friday, February 9.
From all who took part, 48 teams were victorious in becoming National Finalists – with the National Final of the challenge to be held in the RDS in March.
The culmination of the Build a Bank challenge will take place on Wednesday, March 21 where there will be up to €50,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.
