Templeogue sides make county deciders
TEMPLEOGUE Basketball Club saw both their Under 20 Men and Under 12 Girls progress through to the finals of their respective Dublin Cup competitions last weekend.
While the former cruised past the challenge of Ongar Chasers on a 92-42 points scoreline, the Templeogue Under 12 Girls earned a 49-36 win against the same opposition.

The Under 20s overpowered Ongar from the start and had this match effectively wrapped up by the halftime break at which point they led 61-13.
The bulk of their scoring came from Kris Arcilla and Iarla McKeon with Finn Mckeon and Jack Walsh registering a few three pointers also as the Reds set up a clash with either St Vincent’s or UCD Marian in the decider.
The Templeogue Under 12 Girls, meanwhile, set up a meeting with Malahide in next month’s finals weekend after they also despatched Ongar from the semi finals on Sunday.
Chasers finished the first quarter ahead by four, but a huge effort in the second quarter saw Templeogue overtake into 29-15 lead.
