‘The Art Hack’ creative works

ANOTHER collaboration project between students at Ballyfermot College of Further Education (BCFE), and an external group, resulted in creative works.

Last week, BCFE students and the local Foróige took part in a one day creative workshop.

The event titled ‘The Art Hack’ took place in Ballyfermot Library, which is located in between the BCFE campus.

“The idea is that each set of students will exchange skills and ideas in a creative and exciting environment,” said Louise Boughton, Community Liaison, and Co-ordinator of the Illustration Course at BCFE.

“It was a really creative event and there was a great exchange of skills.”

The event follows another recent collaboration between students and an external group – which saw students work with Ballyfermot Mens Shed.

The results of that project are an art exhibition that is currently on display at Ballyfermot Library during April.
