THERE’LL be dancing at the crossroads again this Saturday, July 21, when the annual Crossroads Céili takes place in Cunard, Glenasmole.

Organised by the Glenasmole Community Centre and the Ceili Group, the free community event is open to people of all ages, who are invited out for some fun, conversation and a jig or two.

Running from 7pm to 12pm, the evening will include a special Irish dancing performance by local children, an ice-cream stall, burgers and chips, refreshments, giveaways and a raffle.

To mark the ongoing 150th celebration of St Anne’s Church, the community is invited to turn up in ‘period costume’ that forefathers wore in that era.

Dress code is optional, with a few Best Dressed prizes being awarded on the night.

A complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the event is also running from both sides of the valley – and will collect people from their gate.

Cunard Road will be closed off from 5pm, with re-designated parking areas on both sides of Cunard.

To arrange a shuttle bus lift call Fergus Walsh on 086 2660260.

For further information contact Sean 083 1992111, Donie 086 8631658 or 083 8970203.
