‘There is a big uprising of crime’ in Citywest area
OVER 1,500 residents joined a neighborhood WhatsApp group after a man was beaten up by a gang of teenagers in Citywest on September 18 – the latest in a long line of ongoing anti-social problems afflicting the area.
The group was established by Nivedita Shukla, whose husband Amit Shukla was followed on his way home from the shops and blindsided by a pack of teens near the Fortunestown Luas stop at approximately 7.15pm.
