

This is not what Gardai mean when they say “always use your seatbelt”
Just when you think you have seen it all, Gardai have shared images of something pretty unbelievable.
Officers stopped what they described as a ‘defective’ car being driven by someone who was using seatbelts to hold the doors shut.

Both doors on drivers side were held shut with seat belts & had no windows. L- plate half covered with tape. Summons and fines to follow

The vehicle was stopped in Donegal, with Gardai saying: “When we said wear your seat belt…..we meant you, not your car!
“Letterkenny Traffic Corp stop and seize defective car.
“Both doors on drivers side were held shut with seat belts and had no windows.
“L-plate half covered with tape. Summons and fines to follow.”
