Three-day Harvest Festival

THE Vine Group will be holding their annual Euchariston Harvest Festival in St Aidan’s Church and community school in Brookfield, Tallaght, this weekend.

The three-day event will feature a series of festivities, such as the ever-popular Blessing of Animals service which will take place in

St Aidan’s Church at 11am this Saturday, October 21.

The Euchariston Harvest Festival will take place from October 20 to 22 and will kick off with an opening ceremony in St Aidan’s Church on Friday at 7.30pm.

On Saturday at 2.30pm the Harvest Festival International Concert will take place in St Aidan’s Community School, followed by an International Food Fair at 4.30pm.

The Euchariston Harvest Festival will close on Sunday with 11.30am Mass in St Aidan’s Church followed by refreshments and entertainment.

Joe Geoghegan from the Vine Group told The Echo: “As always, the Euchariston Harvest Festival is free to all and is designed to be a celebration of community.

“It shines a light on all the positive things that the area, which this year is Brookfield, has to offer and it also includes participants from all different nationalities and groups.

“Highlights of the festival are the open ceremony, the blessing of the animals, the free international concert and the free international food fair.”
