Three taken to hospital after early morning crash on Naas Road

Three people have been taken to Tallaght Hospital after a serious road traffic accident this morning.

The three-car collision took place just before the Red Cow interchange on the Naas Road before 9am.

Dublin Fire Brigade units from Tallaght and Dolphin’s Barn attended the scene, along with the National Ambulance Service.

Meanwhile, the M50 was closed in both directions between Junction 12 (Firhouse) and 13 (Dundrum) earlier this morning due to an incident.

Both the AA and Gardai took to Twitter to inform motorists of the closure, however, the reason for the disruption is unknown at this time.

The road has since reopened.
