
Top marks for Coláiste de hÍde student Roisin
THERE was joy for Coláiste de hÍde student Roisin Ní Chuaig who secured the highest points in the Leaving Certificate in her school.
From Kilnamanagh, a delighted Roisin is hoping to attend Trinity College in September and study neuroscience – a study of the nervous system.
The former Scoil Santain student told The Echo: “I’m in shock and I’m just delighted to get my results and points.
“All the hard work has paid off and I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead of me,” she added.
Coláiste de hÍde principal Deiric Mac An Bhaird and newly appointed deputy principal Joy Ui Mhurchadha were on hand to congratulate all the students at the Tallaght school.
