
Trains halted as emergency services deal with serious incident at Parkwest
Trains in and out of Heuston Station have been halted as emergency services currently deal with a serious incident in the Parkwest area.
According to Iarnrod Eireann, the suspension to services is due to an incident involving the 18:25 train from Portlaoise to Heuston Station.
Services in & out of Hstn are currently suspended due to an incident involving 18:25 Portlaoise Hstn Gardai & emergency services enroute

Update:17:20 Galway Heuston &17:20 Cork Heuston are moving to Adamstown Station. Customers can remain onboard or take Dublin Bus

Inbound services to Heuston will terminate at Adamstown. Buses will then bring customers to the city centre

An updated message from the train operator has confirmed some routes are being diverted to other stations, with the option for passengers to travel on Dublin Bus.
Iarnrod Eireann have confirmed the site is now under the control of the emergency services.
At least four units from Dublin Fire Brigade are at the scene, as are gardai.
An estimated time for services to resume is currently unknown.
