
Truck carrying vegetable oil goes on fire

DUBLIN Fire Brigade attended to an incident this afternoon when a truck that was carrying vegetable oil went on fire.
Two engines from Tallaght Fire Station dealt with the vehicle fire at Bohernabreena, which produced a large amount of smoke due to the oil it was carrying.

The incident occurred at around 1.30pm this afternoon, and no injuries have been reported.
“Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire today in Bohernabreena”, said a Dublin Fire Brigade spokesperson.

“The truck was carrying vegetable oil which produces large amounts of smoke when alight. Two fire engines attended.”
