Turner extends unbeaten run

SEAN Turner extended his perfect professional boxing record to nine wins after taking a points win against Croatia’s Ivica Perkovic in Belfast on Saturday night.

It was the first time that the Drimnagh man has gone further than the fourth round as his opponent proved most durable.

Yet the 25-year-old Dubliner did enough to record a 60:54 win and maintain his unbeaten run.
