Unilever caves to pressure and pulls its business out of Russia

UNILEVER has caved to international pressure and pulled out of Russia.

The firm, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies with an Irish base in Citywest, has been criticised over the last couple of years and called “a bunch of hypocrites” for continuing to sell products such as ice cream and soap in Russia since the conflict in 2022.
