Wife fears the worst for dementia stricken husband
A WIFE fears the worst for her dementia-stricken husband (75), who was moved from Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) to a facility in Beaumont this week.
It represents a cross city commute for the Tallaght family, however the wife (70) has serious mobility issues due to back problems and Lymphedema, meaning she is incapable of using public transport, does not drive and on a pensioner’s budget, it cost €58 to get home from Beaumont in a taxi on Monday.
