Woman pleads not guilty to school charge
A WOMAN who denies not sending her daughter to a National School in Tallaght had her case adjourned for hearing by Tallaght District Court.
The case is being prosecuted by the Child and Family Agency, Tusla.
The woman, who is in her 30s, and has an address in Tallaght, is accused of failing to comply with a school attendance notice dated February 22, 2018 to ensure her daughter’s attendance at a national school in Tallaght.
The woman’s counsel told Judge Patricia McNamara that her client was pleading not guilty.
Judge McNamara adjourned the case to October 5 next for hearing.
