
Women hospitalised following shooting incident in Clondalkin
TWO women were hospitalised following a shooting on a Clondalkin road this morning.
A firearm was discharged and shattered a window of a car at the junction of Oak Road/Nangor Road.
The two women, aged in their 30s, received non-life threatening injuries and attended St James’s Hospital for treatment.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardai in Clondalkin are investigating a firearms incident that occurred at the junction of Oak Road/Nangor Road, Clondalkin this morning Monday, March 7, at approximately 9.45a.m.
“A firearm was discharged at a car and shattered the windows. The female driver and passenger received non-life threatening injuries. They attended St James’s Hospital for treatment.”
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
