3Dental Clinic celebrates expansion of its business
A LOCAL cost-effective dental clinic last week celebrated a major expansion at its Naas Road base, a growth which reflects the demand for professional, affordable dentistry.
Based at Red Cow House, 3Dental, which opened its doors last April, was the brain child of dentists Paul O’ Connell, Peter Doherty and Niall Vallely, who are “dedicated to ushering in a new era for dentistry” in Ireland.
Creating 35 jobs when it first opened nine months ago, 3Dental’s expansion and additional €1M investment has created 25 new jobs.
The investment has also facilitated the introduced of new dental suites, which will allows the team to see more patients and reduce waiting times.
According to Dr Paul O’Connell: “Our clients and the people in the community have been so kind to us, offering unrivalled support for 3Dental from day one, something which we will never forget.
“We are delighted to be a part of the vibrant and active community in South Dublin County.”
Although the paint is still drying on the brand-new expansion Niall, Paul and Peter are already thinking ahead to the future of 3Dental.
Dr Peter Doherty said: “The next step in our evolution involves providing digital dentistry for our patients.
“Anyone who has had a mould of their mouth taken will tell you that it is not the most pleasant experience, and we aim to eliminate this through the use of CAD-CAM technology.
“This allows us to take photographs of teeth and then send those images to our dental laboratory to create crowns and bridges on site. The day is coming where we will be able to provide crowns and bridges in just one day.”
Mayor of South Dublin County, Guss O’Connell, who attended the expansion launch, said: “It is wonderful to have such a modern and affordable service in the heart of the community.
“I congratulate the vision and entrepreneurship that has brought about such a marvellous transformation.”
