€500,000 EuroMillions Plus win for lucky player in Walkinstown area
RESIDENTS in the Walkinstown area have been urged to check their EuroMillions tickets today after one lucky Dubliner won Friday night's EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000.
The winning Normal Play ticket was sold yesterday (Friday, April 17) at the SuperValu store in Walkinstown.
The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers which are worth a half million euro to one lucky player were: 05, 08, 24, 30, 35.
While last night’s €67 million EuroMillions jackpot was won by a lucky player in the UK, there were also a massive 47,000 prize winners in Ireland including two winners of the Match 5 prize of €16,606.
The winning tickets were bought at Lynch’s Foodstore in Tullyallen, Co. Louth and the Spar store in the Village Green in Tallaght.
With so many Irish winners in last night’s EuroMillions draw, the National Lottery has reminded players that it has extended the period of time that lucky winners can collect prizes to encourage people to stay at home and not require them to make any unnecessary journeys during the current public health emergency.
