Additional information sought in relation to HGV parking facility

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION is being sought in relation to plans for a HGV parking facility and temporary office facilities on Clonlara Avenue in Baldonnell Business Park.

The applicant McGuire Haulage Ltd includes plans for additional HGV parking on 1,360sq. m of unmetalled surfacing, and a HGV wash bay in the planning application.

It is proposed that the site will provide drainage including surface water runoff infiltration trenches to the unmetalled yard and attenuation facility.

The submission includes plans for 56.3 sq. m temporary office facilities, reaching 3.60 metres high, for a period of five years.

It is proposed that 400 sq. m aggregate storage bays, reaching 3.00 metres high, will be situated at the rear of the site for the temporary storage of ‘in transit’ aggregates.

There are plans for two gates, which will serve as entrance and exit points, to include boundary fencing, to be located at the site’s north-east boundary fronting the estate’s access road at Clonlara Avenue.

There are provisions for perimeter landscaping throughout, and for all associated site development works and utilities.

South Dublin County Council requested additional information on August 4.

A decision on the application has yet to be made by the council.
