All M50 southbound lanes closed at Lucan exit

(UPDATED 9:55am)

All southbound lanes on the M50 at junction seven (Lucan) have now reopened having been closed to allow emergency services deal with two separate accidents.

The first incident happened just before 9am this morning, while a second incident occurred shortly after that, just 20 meters before the first.

M50: All lanes of the M50 SB are closed now at J7 Lucan with traffic being funneled across to the on-ramp from the N4 outbound to M50SB

Traffic is currently being diverted across the on-ramp from the N4 to the M50 southbound.

Delays remain in the area and motorists are asked to take care.
