Anger as plants stolen from planters

TIDY town volunteers blasted the work of a leaf thief in Palmerstown last week, after plants were stolen from a number of planters on the street.

Palmerstown Tidy Town volunteers said planters affected by the thefts were located opposite Cherry Orchard Industrial Estate, at the top of Kennelsfort Road, and from planters belonging to the Palmerstown Manor crew.

The group encouraged residents to keep an eye on planters in their community, and to report any suspicious activity to gardai.
