Updated: Appeal for help in tracing man (64) missing from Ballyboden

Update: Gardai have confirmed that following the discovery of a body of a male in the Rathfarnham area, the missing person appeal in respect of Patrick Mulligan (64) has now been stood down. Patrick was missing from Ballyboden. 

GARDAI are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 64-year-old man missing from his home in Ballyboden.

According to a Garda appeal issued, Patrick Mulligan was last seen at home on Sunday, December 17.  
 
Patrick is described as being approximately 5 foot 6 inches in height, of medium build and with short grey hair.
 
Gardai said they are concerned for his wellbeing.
