Application for the amalgamation of two units at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre

PLANS have been lodged with South Dublin County Council for the amalgamation of a retail unit in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre on Fonthill Road in Clondalkin.

The application, which has been lodged by Liffey Valley Management Limited, outlines plans to amalgamate the ground and mezzanine floor levels of the 390sq.m gross floor area of retail unit number 68, with the 852sq.m gross floor area retail unit number 69/70.

It is proposed that the retail units will be amalgamated to provide for one retail unit of 1,256sq.m gross floor area.

The units are currently listed on Liffey Valley Shopping Centre’s mall guide, with unit 68 being occupied by Diesel and unit 69/70 is listed as being occupied by River Island.

The planning permission application also includes all associated site services and development works relating to the amalgamation of the units.

Third party submissions are being accepted on the application until April 18, and a decision is due from the council by May 7.
