Arena Centre has gone on market with guide price of €45 million
THE Arena Centre at the junction of the N81 and Whitestown Way in Tallaght has gone on the market with a guide price of €45m.
The extensive property was previously put up for sale in 2016 by then-owner Green REIT, but at the time it failed to secure a buyer.
The sale of the investment by agent JLL comes just more than three years on from its acquisition by UK-headquartered private equity real estate manager Henderson Park.
The private equity real estate manager secured ownership of the scheme as part of its €1.34 billion purchase of Green REIT.
The property comprises 99,324sq. ft of retail space across eight units, 98,137sq. ft of office accommodation, and the 119-bedroom Maldron Hotel.
The property also includes an adjoining leisure centre, and a central surface car park which provides car parking for retail customers.
The property’s three main tenants are Woodie’s, the Maldron Hotel Tallaght, and a Bank of Ireland call centre, and they make up 91 per cent of the passing rent of the mixed-use scheme.
