Artists invited to submit proposals for programme
SOUTH Dublin County Council are inviting artists to submit stage one proposals for commissions for the District Centre Enhancement Programme.
The council are inviting expressions of interests from artists who have experience in community collaboration for the commissioning of artworks.
These artworks may take the form of street art, an art installation or event.
The proposals will be for Rosemount Shopping Centre in Rathfarnham and Castletymon Centre in Tallaght and will be the first in the District Centre Enhancement Programme which celebrates the importance of the District Centres and will involve ten commissions in total.
The programme aims to bring colour and creativity to everyday spaces in District Centres across the county and transform the centres into a canvas to help brighten up the centre.
The closing date for submissions is Wednesday May 26, 2021 at 4pm.
