McNulty, aged 39, with an address at Dunawley Way, Clondalkin, is charged with aggravated burglary with a curved metal bar and two counts of assaulting a named female causing her harm at an address at Neilstown Avenue, Clondalkin, on November 26, 2016.

He is also charged with aggravated burglary with a crowbar and making a threat to kill the same female at the address at Neilstown Avenue also on November 26, 2016.

A solicitor for the DPP told the court that the book was ready to be served. He said the DPP had consented for McNulty to be sent forward for trial to the present sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.

Noting that the book had been served, Judge McHugh issued McNulty with the alibi caution and sent him forward on bail to the present sitting of the Circuit Court.
