Boost of €130,000 for preservation of historic St Finian’s structure

Peamount Healthcare CLG has been awarded €130,000 for the repair and protection of St Finian’s School under the Historic Structures Fund.

This funding will support repairs to the roof and structural timbers of a disused timber building which once formed part of a tuberculosis sanatorium. The works will facilitate plans to bring the building back into use as a training and community centre
