Builders Providers and Hardware stores TJ O’Mahony to reopen

BUILDERS Providers and Hardware stores TJ O’Mahony have announced that they will be reopening their Ballymount, Glasnevin and Kilshane stores to the public on Monday, May 18th having been closed in line with the government’s lockdown from late March.

In line with the Government’s announcement on the phased lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, TJ O’Mahony stores have been making big preparations to ensure that both our team and customers are being kept safe in line with the government’s NSAI protocols.

As well as issuing all our team with appropriate PPE (masks and gloves), all the stores have been fitted with perspex screens at tills and customer service zones, and one-way systems, hand sanitization, contactless payments, digital screens and social distance queuing measures are being put in place to control the number of customers in store and ensure safety for all.

This is in addition to the group’s new TJ O’Mahony online store (Tj O' Mahony) which was brought forward and launched to accommodate a big demand from locked-down customers for safe online delivery.

Branch manager Brendan O’Reilly said: “We had been developing our online store since early autumn 2019 and we were fortunate that we were prepared to go live.

As a result working within the NSAI regulations for trading we were able keep people employed in unprecedented times.

We really appreciate all the patience and loyalty demonstrated by both our customers and team alike.

Our online store is a fantastic addition to our offering, but it’s great to reopen the store doors and resume ‘normal’ service, all be it, within the new strict COVID-19 protocols that we all need for our safety. But we’re back!”
