Burst water main causes disruption to service in Kingswood area

FOLLOWING numerous reports of water outages in the Kingswood locality today, Irish Water has confirmed that it’s carrying out repairs to a burst water main in the area.

Irish Water has confirmed on its website that repairs to a burst water main are being carried out, and that works may cause 'supply disruptions'.

Areas that may be affected include Ballymount Road Lower, Forest Estate, Sycamore Estate, Sylvan Drive, Walnut Estate, Dunmore Estate, Kingswood Castle, Ashfield Estate, Chestnut Grove, Tynan Hall Avenue, Tynan Hall Grove, Kingswood and surrounding areas in Dublin 24.

According to Irish Water, works have an estimated completion time of 4pm today, Thursday, April 29.

“We recommend that you allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return”, Irish Water said.
