Calisthenics outdoor area to be installed in Tymon
A NEW calisthenics outdoor workout area will be installed in Tymon Park this month.
The installation works of the new workout area will be located near the pavilion at Tymon Park, Limekiln, and is due to start at the beginning of this month and will be completed by the middle of May.

Calisthenics focuses on physical activity which allows people to use their own bodyweight using minimal equipment such as bars for pull ups.
South Dublin County Council said that outdoor workout areas have become increasingly popular in parks across Dublin with high numbers of people using the equipment for exercise.
The calisthenics workout area will be available for all park users to use for improving their health and wellbeing, especially while gyms and sporting facilities remain shut due to current restrictions.
