DSPCA – Ducklings

Surrendered ducklings being cared for by the DSPCA this week after it emerged that baby ducks were being sold to young people for €5.

The DSPCA has encouraged anyone who has a duckling to call the animal shelter, and to not release the duckling in a local park.

Clondalkin Animal Aid can also be contacted.

An American Fire engine received a warm welcome after its long journey from New York to Dublin.

As reported previously in The Echo, Crumlin native Liam Moore decided to purchase the 1987 Seagrave Tiller in an auction before Christmas and will use it for charitable events in the future.

Txt 2 Connect – South Dublin County Partnership

The ‘Txt 2 Connect’ service is being run by the South Dublin County Partnership, after they secured funding from the Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) for the pilot project.

Light House in Kilnamanagh gets decorated for Easter

The egg-citement is building ahead of the Easter bunny coming on Sunday morning with Stephen Stroughair from Kilnamanagh once again decorating his house with lights to celebrate the occasion 

Scrap yard fire Greenhills Road

 Dublin Fire Brigade dealt with a blaze at a car scrap yard on the Greenhills Road around 10pm on Saturday night.

Five units from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn brought the fire under control. No injuries were reported.
