Chambers for Climate – local businesses invited to register for online event

BUSINESSES across South Dublin are invited to register for the free Chambers for Climate online event, which takes place virtually on Thursday, September 30.

The South Dublin Chamber along with its colleagues in Chambers Ireland are involved in hosting an event at this year’s Oslo Innovation Week 2021.

The Chambers for Climate event will provide a snapshot of what businesses locally and internationally are doing in terms of business for climate – and share best practice ideas.

The keynote address is by Mary Robinson, President for Climate Justice in Trinity College Dublin.

Following Ms Robinson’s address, participants will hear from Gabriel Petrus, Deputy Director for Global Partnerships & Development at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the world business organisation, and Ian Talbot, Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland – Ireland’s largest business organisation.

Ian Talbot will discuss the Chambers Ireland’s new SDG (Sustainable Development Growth) toolkit for business.

There will also be break out session exploring Ireland and Oslo’s SME action.

South Dublin Chamber and Chambers Ireland has collaborated with The Irish Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (INCC) and Oslo Chamber of Commerce to host ‘Chambers for Climate’ event at Oslo Innovation week 2021.
