Children hospitals benefit from company’s Xmas party sacrifice – to a tune of €30,000

A CLOVERHILL-based company sacrificed a €30,000 Christmas party, in order to donate all the proceeds towards charity instead, reports Maurice Garvey.

KN Network Services, a large civil engineering and telecommunications business, decided to give to charity instead of hosting a Christmas party for workers employed within the Dublin base.

Employees made the decision off their own bat, and donated two cheques worth €15,000 to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, and Temple Street Children’s Hospital on Tuesday.

The Cloverhill Industrial Estate company, also have working bases in Northern Ireland and England, and have supported local sports clubs and charities in the past.

Group CEO of KN Network Services Donagh Kelly, a proud Donegal man, will also sponsor the senior Donegal GAA football team for the coming season.

Expect to see the KN name telecommunicated to Croke Park this summer.
