Christmas FM returns on Wednesday

The festivities will start from 1pm and for its 11th year on air the radio station has chosen Temple Street Children’s University Hospital as its official charity partner.

The festive station is aiming to raise over €200,000 over the Christmas period, which will be used to give "the gift of life to over 1,000 critically ill babies and children" - as money raised will go towards purchasing new state-of-the-art incubators and ventilators for the hospital.

The partnership “will raise the spirits of staff, our patients and their families during the festive season”, said Denise Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Temple Street Foundation.

Garvan Rigby, co-founder of Christmas FM, said: “The radio station creates a very special feel-good festive factor that is unrivalled anywhere else, and we look forward to sharing that with everyone at Temple Street – patients, parents and staff – as well as our listeners.”

To get some Christmas cheer this Wednesday lunchtime, tune into 105.2 FM!
