Christmas miracle as Tallaght boy is reunited with missing dog Mojo

A couple of weeks ago we brought you the sad story of missing Mojo, the beloved dog of a young Tallaght boy who has autism.

Mojo had managed to escape from the family home of Sean (10) in Rossfield , and the young boy was devastated.

Sightings of the little dog placed him in several locations, from The Square to the Luas stop at Kylemore.

A huge social media campaign ensued, but the trail appeared to have reached a dead-end!

Well, after several weeks on the missing list, we are thrilled to tell you all that Mojo is tonight at home with Sean, safe and sound, like a real-life Christmas miracle.

According to Sean‘s mother, Tara, Mojo was sold to a homeless couple by two young boys, with the couple caring for the little Chihuahua since.

The dog had been living in a tent with the couple, and they were said to have become very attached to the pooch.

However, once it came to light that the dog was in fact Mojo, they were delighted to reunite him with Sean.

Everyone at Echo.ie would like to thank the couple for giving a young boy the best Christmas present he could have ever asked for.

A page to raise money for the couple has been set up by Sean’s family HERE.
