Community shocked Our Lady statue smashed again
A PARISHIONER has described the smashing of a statue of Our Lady outside St Mark’s Church in Springfield on Christmas Eve as an act of “mindless vandalism”.
This is the third time that the statue, which is part of a grotto within the church grounds, has been vandalised, following on from a second incident of vandalism last May when it was damaged.
