Coronavirus: 1758 new cases confirmed

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 1,758* confirmed cases of COVID-19.  

According to information provided through the Department of Health’s Twitter account 1,758 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are being reported as of midnight, Saturday, August 14.

As of 8am today, 248 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 48 are in ICU.
