
Councillor resigns from People Before Profit party over ‘fundamental differences’
A councillor elected as a member of People Before Profit has resigned from the party, citing “fundamental differences about political method, working class loyalty, and strategic priorities”.
Councillor Madeleine Johansson issued a statement on Monday, June 9, that she and other members of the Red Network socialist group felt the need to “forge a new path for revolutionary socialist politics outside of PBP”.
