Creche and new community centre approved in Citywest

PLANS for a three-storey creche and a community centre on Cuil Duin Avenue in Citywest have been given the green light by South Dublin County Council.

Applicant Greenacre Residential DAC’s plans consist of the development of the facility with a 1,610sq.m gross floor area and an associated external play area.

Provision of car and bicycle parking, hard and soft landscaping and bin storage forms part of the plans.

The proposal includes a revised layout to the northern edge of Cuil Duin Avenue to accommodate access to the proposed development.

There will also be amendments to the existing footpath and cycle track and provision of set-down car parking spaces and all associated site and development works.

South Dublin County Council granted permission for the development on May 5 last.

Greenacre Residential DAC is the developer behind the 488-unit apartment development on Fortunestown Lane in Saggart, and 526 dwellings on Fortunestown Lane and Garter Lane.
