Data breach concern at debt collection agency

A DATA breach at one of the State’s largest debt collection agencies, has still not brought clarity to people whose accounts may be affected since news of a breach was first shared in September.

Cabot Financial Ireland, which acts for around 80 credit unions and other lenders, including banks, are dealing with a “cyber security incident” and “addressing the incident with urgency.”
