Clondalkin firm Datapac, who have offices in Dublin, Wexford, Belfast, and service locations throughout Ireland, were chosen to deliver a comprehensive technology services overhaul at Kefron following a tender process.

Park West company Kefron is a leading information and document management company, and employs more than 150 people throughout Ireland and the UK.

Datapac replaced several of Kefron’s servers and installed an advanced new Storage Area Network (SAN) platform.

Datapac also deployed an Office 365 solution for Kefron, providing employees with the ability to work remotely.

Jonathan Purvis, IT manager, Kefron, said: “From the outset we knew that this would be a major project, especially given the fact that our stringent service level agreements with customers meant that it needed to be carried out without causing any downtime whatsoever. Datapac managed the entire implementation with confidence and expertise, ensuring no disruption whatsoever.

“We now have an advanced IT infrastructure that offers the highest levels of performance and security, which are absolutely critical in our industry.”

Lisa Collins, business relationship manager, Datapac, said: “We’ve increased flexibility and productivity across Kefron’s entire organisation and enabled their employees to fully embrace mobile working. We also provided them with the storage and security platform they need to allow them to grow with confidence in an increasingly digitised and competitive industry.”
