Delays on Luas red line due to incident at Belgard stop

There are delays this evening on the Luas red line due to an incident at the Belgard stop.

A statement from the Luas operator said: “Passengers should be advised that the Luas Red Line is delayed at the moment due to an incident at Belgard.

“Luas tickets are valid for use on Dublin Bus. Dualway coaches in operation between Belgard / Tallaght / Saggart.”

The latest delays come just hours after another disruption on the line, in which a member of the public pulled the emergency brake on a tram at the Goldenbridge stop.

The man was subsequently arrested and was taken to Sundrive Road Garda station.
