Demand for ban on vape shops opening near schools

Calls have been made for tighter controls over vape shops opening in Dublin village centres, and for a ban of any vape shops opening within 500 metres of schools.

A motion brought before the Clondalkin Area Committee meeting on Wednesday, June 18, called the “proliferation of vape shops in the centre of our villages and close to schools . . . an undesirable development in our communities”.
