
DFB warn homeowners after old-style fuse board fire in Templeogue
Dublin Fire Brigade have warned people who may still have old-style fuse boards in their homes about the dangers of them.
Units from Rathfarnham and Dolphin’s Barn responded to a domestic fire on Wednesday in Templeogue.

According to DFB the old-style fuse board had caught fire, and even after the blaze had been extinguished, the fuse board was still recording some extreme temperatures.
A message from DFB said: “A Watch from Rathfarnham and Dolphin’s Barn attended this domestic house fire in Templeogue on Wednesday.
“The older style fuse board had caught fire. The owner knocked back the fire with a powder extinguisher.
“Even after removed you can see the temperature of the fuse on our TIC.”
