€22.5m secured for Active Travel Scheme
SOUTH Dublin County Council has secured funding of €22.5m from the National Transport Authority to continue its Active Travel scheme this year.
This follows on from a spend of €22.4m by the council for the scheme last year, which included light Segregation Schemes completed at Firhouse Road, Ballyowen Road, Tallaght Main Street and Cypress Grove Road.
