Trying to make your hair grow longer can sometimes feel like an uphill battle, especially if you’re trying everything in the book while hoping for an overnight miracle of gorgeous Rapunzel luscious locks.
The most important thing to keep in mind as you are trying to grow your hair is that it will take time and patience. Experts say that hair grows half an inch each month which at first doesn’t sound like a lot but all those half inches add up.

Healthy hair = Longer hair

Frequent trims – If you suffer with thin hair, keeping your ends trimmed will improve the overall quality and density of your hair. Your ends have gone through the worst the longest, having made it from your scalp all the way down to the bottom. They’re old, worn out and ready to leave so let them go.

Wet Hair Brush – Our hair is most prone to breakage when wet so we need to be extra careful. Instead of brushing with your normal brush after a shower, switch to a wet brush that is designed for keeping wet hair intact.

Damage prevention while asleep – When we sleep our hair is being pulled, tugged and knotted which is the worst for hair growth. Style your hair in a loose plait before bed or sleep on a silk pillowcase to prevent damage.
