Knocklyon native Laura Delany played a huge part in helping Ireland to a 3-1 ODI series win over Zimbabwe, scoring 189 runs at 63 and taking four wickets at 27. She was later declared the ICC Women’s Player of the Month.
St Patrick’s Athletic ended their year on a high after beating Bohemians on penalties in the FAI Cup Final at the Aviva Stadium.
