JULY saw the community of Ballyfermot unite against the planned removal of a statue of Our Lady to facilitate the BusConnects project.
A statue of Our Lady of the Assumption, which has been in the middle of a landmark roundabout in Ballyfermot since the 1950s, has been earmarked for relocation to allow the development of a bus corridor.
